Active projects include the U.S. Gulf Coast Tertiary and Mesozoic trends, Paleozoic trends of Oklahoma, West Texas and Appalachian basin Paleozoic unconventional shale and sandstone plays.
Nomad primarily generates open acreage prospects in the US Gulf Coast Mesozoic and Tertiary sections. Nomad's current prospect inventory is focused on low risk exploitation plays in North and South Louisiana, East Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi and the Appalachian basin. Current prospect inventory is concentrated in oil and NGL projects including tight oil reservoirs, low resistivitiy-low contrast pay and oil halos adjacent to existing fields. Nomad's prospects have gas resource potential ranging from 15 BCFG to greater than 1 TCFG and oil potential from 5 to over 100 MMBO. Nomad typically seeks a prospect finder's fee and sliding scale ORRI based on the specific project. Nomad Geosciences LLC, my business entity, can provide your company with high quality geoscience services to satisfy and or compliment your current geoscience staffing needs. As a consultant with two offices in Southside Virginia, I can reduce your overhead costs via working remotely on your projects and interfacing with your office staff at your convenience. About Nomad Geosciences LLC:Founded in 1999, Nomad Geosciences LLC is an independant oil and gas consulting and prospect generation business. Al Taylor is the sole founder, President and Chief Scientist for Nomad Geosciences. He has over 45 years of major and independant oil and gas exploration experience ranging from frontier exploration to reservoir management and well site operations. He has comprehensive training and working experience in numerous critical technologies including: petrophysics, subsurface structure, facies and stratigraphic mapping, sequence stratigraphy, 2 and 3D seismic interpretation, petrology, petroleum systems modeling, and potential fields geophysics. From his experience as the Geoscience Team Leader for a Fortune 15 oil company's petrophysical training program, he can offer leadership, organizational, project and time management skills, in addition to his broad technical skills.
Al is an AAPG Certified Petroleum Geologist (#5783), a SIPES Certified Earth Scientist (#2946) and is a Registered Professional Geologist in the states of Tennessee (#3581) and Arkansas (#1002).
